A couple of snakes have also used habitats around the Blue Lake Recreation area this year, and a couple of snakes have recently moved further north. A number of the snakes have also been using neighboring private land. Feedback from the local community has remained positive. The new metal signs distributed around the area and placed at trailhead.

Dismals Canyon Conservatory - A National Natural Landmark - 205-993-4559. A secluded wilderness filled with natural phenomena tucked deep within the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Located in Northwest Alabama - is an 85 acre. In 1975 by the National Natural Landmarks Program. A 15 mile hiking trail.
